Sync3 Voice Recognition
So I've had my 2016 Platinum for 2 weeks now. I absolutely love it. However, I have been having issues with Sync3; it seems to not like my voice.
I'm a Southern Californian guy, so I don't think it's a dialect/accent thing. Tonight I tried to find an address. First I recited the address, and it consistently was not getting the correct street or even city. Then I tried the "spell it" option. It wasn't even recognizing the spelling correctly.
I eventually gave up. I knew where I was going, but simply wanted to test its functionality. Overall, I have to say I'm not impressed. I can't wait for Android auto to be supported, because Google's voice recognition is amazing.
For the record, the climate system was off, windows were up, and I was the only one in the car. In other words, it was as quiet as could be when traveling at 50 mph.
Has anyone else with Sync3 had this issue? Having a technical background, I find it hard to believe it's anything other than a software thing; but I could be overlooking something.
