Sync3 Black Screen
I apologize if this information is posted somewhere.
I have a 2015 F150. I upgrade my Sync2 to a Sync3 using Naviupgrade. The system worked for years but lately when I turn on my truck the Ford logo will display and then the screen goes black. I used to be able to do soft reset (power button and forward button) and that would get me going again but now that only re-displays the Ford logo and goes black again.
When I connect my phone via the USB port I can still play music and talk on the phone. The only audio controls that work are the volume buttons on the steering wheel and the radio console.
The backlight is on.
When I attempt to do an upgrade to a newer sync3 version nothing pops up on the screen. Not sure how long to wait, assuming the files are downloading, since I see nothing on the screen.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Do you have a iPhone with dual or more eSIM, if you do the main phone number generates ip address that’s recognizable by computer if the phone is set to additional eSIM that phone line only generates random ip addresses and sync3 won’t recognize random addresses and will not function properly. I know it took two dealerships and about $500 bucks to solve. The second dealership tech was persistent enough to help figure what the the problem was, but the first dealership tech wouldn’t try just tell me schedule more appointments they had the truck 3 times before I told them to pound sand.
