Every time I start the truck, it turns on the radio as opposed to my bluetooth phone. Can we set a default source? Anyone have any luck with that?

 

My 2018 remains on the last source it was set to. May be a firmware issue?

 

My '17 occasionally starts up on AM for no reason. Just figured its a software glitch.

 

Mine defaults to AM when it can't connect to the Bluetooth which is generally the last source before shutdown.

 

Yeah, Pretty standard to have it happen on my 2017 with SYNC 3. It almost always defaults back to the last built in source I had it on Sirius or FM. I've had it do the back to AM thing a couple times as well. I am pleasantly surprised the couple times it actually continued my bluetooth source where I left over when I start it up.

 

My 2018 Sync 3 would default to Sirius when I turned on the truck without having my mobile phone plugged in. I fixed that by removing the Sirius option from Sync using ForScan and I have not had any issue with the source changing from my last setting.

What is funny.... All of us have different scenarios for the same problem with Sync which really put into question Ford's software quality assurance program because all of these bugs in Sync is simply unacceptable in today's world. Even the Sync 2 (MyFordTouch) in our Taurus is far less buggy than what I have in my F150.
