Default SYNC3 3.4 Update Problem

I have a 2019 F-150 and used the USB stick to apply the (release version) of SYNC3 3.4. The software went through the normal update process, and then popped up a window saying that it was complete and the update would be applied at the next vehicle start. I also verified the log file (using the Ford site) that indicated a successful update. However, on restart the system does not appear to be booting, instead giving me a black screen with backlight, only to have the backlight turn off a few seconds later with no subsequent boot.

Is there a way to rectify this situation without visiting a dealer?

Thanks!

Hit the power button and forward arrow at the same time and hold them for a few seconds. It should cause a factory reboot and may help ya out.

It was either coincidence, or the factory reset successfully got the system "unstuck." It appeared to reboot a couple times after the reset, then eventually rebooted to the Ford logo screen and into SYNC3 3.4.

Appreciate the quick help!
