Default SYNC Wiring (which wire for illumination?)
Need to know which wire on the SYNC harness to tap for dash illumination? I’ve not opened the dashboard yet and fairly new to this so being specific will be appreciated.

Year, model and options might help. These trucks are complicated. Interior lighting is controlled by the Battery Saver part of the BCM (Body Control Module)

Oops. 2018 Raptor base model. SYNC not SYNC 3.

I can't help you out but hopefully someone else will. i've got no information on the Raptor and would hate to give you some bad info.

my understanding is it has the same cab as any f-150 super crew.

If that's the case, then look for a YE-GN wire which comes from Pin-14 of the BCM and supplies power to all the interior lights.
