Sync Screen Changes to Different Screen on Startup
I have a 2019 F150 Lariat with the 8" touchscreen. Sometimes with the screen on Home I shutdown the truck. The next startup puts up the Audio Screen or another screen. Is this normal? Or should the screen remain on the last selected?
However, if you have used FOREScan to enable the heated seat controls to the home screen, the home screen will always be first visible when turned on.
If you did not purchase new -confirm there are no heated/cooled seat icons displayed on the home screen...meaning the previous owner didn't enable that.

Normally it sticks to the screen that was active when ignition was last shut off.

Purchased new, no Forescan changes and there are no heated/cooled seat icons displayed. Will have to try the master reset.
Sounds more like a timeout condition (BCM not telling the APIM to go to sleep).
Sync will skip its boot animation if the truck hasn't been off long enough or if you haven't gotten out with the ignition off, closed and locked all the doors.
Just hold power and seek forward on the dash for 10 second to reboot Sync if you think the system is frozen. I doubt a master reset will change anything other than erase your EQ settings.
