Sync questions
I have a 2015 XLT 302A package, I’m reading
up on sync 3 considering swapping out MFT for sync 3. I know the components needed for the most part. I’m guessing eBay would be the best to source this stuff on a budget?
Also as far as forescan goes I don’t have it. My main issue is once my laptop died over a year ago I bought an Acer chromebook from Costco and it looks to not support this. So could I buy a pre-programmed apim and just swap it and all the sync 3 components with no programming? Would a smart phone program it? If not guess I need to look into a cheap laptop. Forscan is windows only I believe, so no phone or Chromebook will work for that. You could buy it from someone here pre-programmed if you give them your VIN I believe. Oscarsierra on here sells a whole kit to convert from small to 8" screen.
