Sync MFT issue with USB using ioS 11
I could swear I have seen this topic before, but cannot seem to find it again, if you could link or answer I would appreciate either...
I recently updated to iOS 11 for an iPhone and now the USB does not work for streaming music. It will charge the phone and play through BT, but no music through the USB. Does anyone know the fix?

They added a new feature to IOS 11 that prevents USB based devices from accessing your phone when it's been locked over a certain period of time. That time period is supposed to be one hour, but from what I've read that is not always the case, and it will prevent USB access from a recently locked phone as well.
From what I've seen the fix is as follows:
Settings => TouchID & Passcode => (input your passcode) => Scroll down to USB Accessories. Make sure it's toggled to the on (green) position.
Note that this makes your phone "hack-able" by someone with physical access, and the proper tools. Hopefully they will update it to allow connections to "approved" devices (like your car stereo, which you have to already setup via the CarPlay tool.)
