I have a 2018 with 30,000 km. I've started experiencing the following issues with the sync3/touchscreen:
1. Rear view camera does not disengage when put into drive - continues showing rearview camera shot when driving forward for several minutes
2. At night, screen will not change to night mode, neither automatically nor manually
3. Cannot change radio stations via the steering wheel nor radio controls
4. Cannot turn radio off (in conjunction with #3 above) - only volume works.

These issues are intermittent - I can go days without one then one or more reoccur. There is no apparent pattern. The only resolution is to turn off the vehicle and wait several minutes before turning back on. The dealer said to bring it in while it is acting up - otherwise they cannot diagnose. Given circumstances, this is hard to arrange. Has anyone else experienced similar and resolved?

 

Sounds like your APIM is getting ready to expire. The symptoms will likely get worse. Since its still under warranty, a trip to the dealership is in store for you. There are dozens of threads that start like yours. Good luck with the fix. Its a fairly common issue.
