Default Sync iOS 12 issues

anyone have issues with Bluetooth music pausing after a second after updating to iOS 12. ( Not in CarPlay. )

Open your bluetooth settings on sync and phone. Forget each corresponding device. Do a master reset on sync and reboot your phone. Then reconnect bluetooth. Hopefully that will solve your issue.

Alright, I'll jump on your thread to voice two problems I've encountered with iOS 12 and CarPlay:
  • I can reorder the icons in the CarPlay section of my iPhone... and they reset themselves constantly. The order of the icons on each page doesn't really bother me, but some apps I want on the first page and they default to the second page.
  • Even more annoying, my GPS location has been way off... like, five miles off. It happens with my truck's nav in Sync 3, Google Maps in CarPlay, and Waze right on my phone. So I don't know what to blame for that problem. It's been several days, several truck & device restarts, and the issue persists. It's really becoming a problem.

Are you running Waze via CarPlay? And if so I wonder if it is using the gps on the truck or your phone? If on the truck you might just have a bad antenna. If on the phone then I think that would eliminate the truck gps antenna as being the problem.
