Issue solved

I've found out what is causing this issue and how to repair it vs buying a 300 dollar apim and all the nonsense that goes with it. If anyone is still having issues message me and I'll explain what to do.

my Bluetooth/ SYNC seems to have gone, tried disconnecting and connecting phone with no luck. I am able to use USB connection and also I’m able to use ear buds (ono). Will your fix help or do I need to go to get it replaced or fixed?

Thanks

Why not just post it here to this thread so that everyone that is having the issue has another option to try.

Have you tried holding the volume button down and seek forward at the same time to let the system reset? You could also try pulling the fuse for a couple minutes. The fix I've found in mainly for sytems that are frozen and not responsive. As soon as i write a tutorial I'll post it, it involves taking the apim apart and there is a bit to it. Let me know if that works and if not I'll see what i can find.

How's that tutorial coming? I just bought a used 2017 and it's having this same issue now. It's out of warranty so don't want to take it to the stealership if I don't have to. I like my arm and leg where they are.
Is this anything like the cold solder issue in the original Xbox?

Would love to know what you figured out! Having the same fun issues.

I got mine figured out, and now know why it can't be posted here. APIM "IS NOT" the issue it's the crappy SYNC 3 software. There's a way to reprogram, but voids any warranty left. Mine works perfectly now and no hardware required. Unless your APIM is still under warranty don't bother replacing because it won't fix it; at least not permanently because it will come back.

I just bought 2017 and it’s doing this guessing they traded it in knowing this! What’s the solution?!
