its the apim like everyone says. I had mine replaced right after i purchased my truck. Everything would lag and my carplay wouldnt work. they said i just needed to reset it but that never worked so they eventually broke down and replaced the apim

Issue solved
I've found out what is causing this issue and how to repair it vs buying a 300 dollar apim and all the nonsense that goes with it. If anyone is still having issues message me and I'll explain what to do.

Have you tried holding the volume button down and seek forward at the same time to let the system reset? You could also try pulling the fuse for a couple minutes. The fix I've found in mainly for sytems that are frozen and not responsive. As soon as i write a tutorial I'll post it, it involves taking the apim apart and there is a bit to it. Let me know if that works and if not I'll see what i can find.

Is this anything like the cold solder issue in the original Xbox? |

How's that tutorial coming? I just bought a used 2017 and it's having this same issue now. It's out of warranty so don't want to take it to the stealership if I don't have to. I like my arm and leg where they are.
