I am trying to upgrade the Sync system in my 2015 F150 Lariat. I have version 3.7.1 and I am trying to upgrade to Ver 3.10 with USB. I have followed all of the directions and have had several chats with the FORD tech people online. I have verified with them that I have the new USB stick formatted correctly and the download is good. When the upgrade runs, it loads 6 of 6 files, then the FORD logo shows and then fades and it then starts "Updating SYNC Image". It almost immediately states that there is a problem with the USB sick and that I should remove to end the upgrade. The FORD chat people have suggested a "Key Cycle" which did not help. I don't want to pay the dealership to try to upgrade what should be doable for no charge. Anyone have suggestions????

 

I would go to CyanLabs website. They have a cleaner that will clean out all the old files, and reinstall latest software. I recall one of the updates took close to an hour with a thumb drive, so plan accordingly. Good luck.
