Default Sync 3 - WiFi

I have been having a lot of trouble with my FOrd Pass not working lately. I can't say for sure if it was after I did an update to my Sync 3 or not, but I suspect that may be the case. Anyway, I removed my truck from Ford Pass and went to re-add. My truck won't stay connected to WiFi. (either my phone or my home) I reset the Sync 3 or when I restart the truck. It will find the network for the first 30 seconds and will connect. But after 30 seconds it can't recognize any WiFi signals at all. So I have not been able to reconnect my truck to Ford Pass.

Anyone have any experience with this issue?

I'm having this issue as well although in my case it stays for about 3-5 minutes before dropping off. I suspect it's a bug in the firmware for Sync. Hopefully when 3.4 gets released (I know there's way to get it but it hasn't directly gone to many, if any, truck owners portals yet) then it'll fix it

You didn't mention year but I assume your talking about sync connect. Which allows you to start and lock/unlock toying the app This using a cellular modem not the Wi-Fi

Something happened with Fordpass. I can check vehicle details with the wife's Escape as normal. But the F150 tells me to select the Fordpass app in the truck. It was working fine a few weeks ago. I know my Samsung did an update that knocked out my security camera app as well as possibly screwing up the Fordpass app. Although I'm not sure why the Escape continues to work fine.

2017 F150 with Sync 3 and Ford Pass app on iphone. Worked fine for a couple years. About 3 months ago was starting to fail at starting the truck. Got worse....I reinstalled app on the phone.... no change. Today I tried deleting my truck from Ford Pass and re-installing it but I can't get the truck stay hooked to WiFi long enough to receive the request to allow access.

It does not use Wi-Fi to connect. You might have issues with your TCU. Can you check for codes?
