Default Sync 3 v.3.0 is now officially Live.
Sync 3 v3 is now ready to download. fingers crossed Waze will work, or very soon.

Apparently it isn't live for everyone. I looked up my 2016 and it says I'm current with V2.3.

It’s live for the 2018’s. You can also just add a vin to your myford profile, download the software and then remove the vin.

Given that Ford has only provided this for 2018s, does that imply that use different versions than prior years, or is Ford simply slowing the distribution to control website and support issues? I'd want to know for sure before trying to apply a software update to my truck (if I had Sync 3) and then finding out I shouldn't have.

I have a 2017 Explorer and it said it was ready to update to Ver 3.0. I downloaded the files yesterday, but will not have a chance to install them until I get home in a few weeks. Relax it will get here soon enough then everyone will be looking for Ver 4.0 and forget all about the 3.0
