Sync 3 usb help
i recently upgraded from the 4.3” to 8” sync 3. I bought the conversion plug and everything works perfectly but, 1 problem the USB hub does not work. I bought the wpt plug and the correct USB hub. I just tried it on my friends truch and it worked fine. Does anyone have this same problem and do they have a fix or know what I can be doing wrong? I am very electronic savvy and also have Forscan. Any help will be appriciated please pm me. Thank you.
Did you also try the USB cable that connects the hub to the mini USB on the APIM on your friends truck? Is your USB cable plugged into the proper mini USB port on the APIM? Only one of those ports works.

no I did not but I only plugged in the power to see if it charged my phone and it worked fine on my friends truck. I checked that pin 1 has +12 and pin 4 has ground. The lights light up when I plug it in on my truck but I get no power out .
