Does anyone have any luck with this feature? I've called SiriusXM and they've sent a refresh signal. Still no luck. Any advice appreciated.

 

I just picked up my 2016 tonight. I have to working on mine. It was showing a major highway in green lines to represent traffic.

 

I remember some ford and chevy guys having problems with this feature too.

Do you see current traffic data even when you're not navigating somewhere?

 

Any more success stories on this feature? Mine has now worked 1 time but that's it. Any more ideas appreciated.

 

Yes. Mine shows traffic data at all times. I never use the sync 3 routing, I prefer to use WAZE. I pretty much use the nav in my truck to look at the traffic.

 

mine works fine, some folks had trouble with it on 1.0 but it was fixed with the v2.2 upgrade.

Also, you need to be near a larger city/area for it to show anything. For example, I live in State College, PA were there is no traffic reported, but once I drive to Harrisburg and get within 30 miles or so, I start to see traffic.

If you go into Apps, Sirius Travelink and look at status, it should tell you that you're subscribed (I think). If you see this, it's just a matter of being somewhere near where traffic data is reported and having 2.2.

 

I guess I spoke too soon. This has only worked twice for me. Usually, no traffic flow shows on the map and when I refresh the traffic list, nothing shows up at all. I have Sync 3 2.0. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a trick to this?

 

My thoughts/hopes are that this will be corrected on the Sync 2.2 update. To my understanding it hasn't been released from Ford yet. I have only seen mine work on one occasion.
