Just wondering if anyone with any info on the Sync Connect modem could tell me where this modem resides or what it is connected to? I have a Sync 3 v2.2 that doesn't have Sync Connect and would like to see if I can retrofit it and/or turn it on with Forscan.

I'm thinking that all of the Sync 3's had the modem but were turned off in the ACM or another module for those models that didn't have it as an option.

Maybe it's a long shot and maybe this is too new for people to be diving into their dashboards to tear stuff apart, but most manufactures now-a-days are building one standardized unit for certain features and simply altering the programming for how it works, for example the box lighting wiring in the F150 is there even for models that don't have the lights installed but the option is simply turned off in the BCM.
