im about to purchase a sync 3 apim and screen radio"cd player" but i will need to drive 3 hrs to get it, my question how can i verify if the unit is working without taking my unit out sync 2? can i use an external power source to power it on? ....,glet-19c107-ba---------hl3t-14g370-gcd user says unit has nav how can i verify if it does have it with just the model #??

Sorry I can't help you with that question. I'm pretty sure it can be done since I have seen pictures with the display on out of a car, but I have no idea how to go about doing it.
