Ok so my 2016 F150 scab XLT sync 3 is dying, the typical freezing, losing phone connection, delaying, losing nav satellite, etc. I’m out of warranty and looking to replace with a newer 2018 module with nav. I have forscan so programming shouldn’t be a issue, my biggest problem is finding the right part # with nav from a f150, explorer, Lincoln, fusion, mustang, etc. I’m hoping We can get this thread going with part#s with nav and without to help me and others out. I’ve been looking and their has to be over 100 part #s from 2016 to 2018, I don’t think 2019 modules will work. Any help is appreciated. Hopefully ford extends the warranty on this system like they did with my ford touch a few years back, Sync 3 is turning into a disaster for many of us.

 

I can't help with party numbers, at least not yet. I have an 18 with nav that's going out now as well. I got a great deal on a '19 one from a guy on this forum. I'll get a chance this coming week to put it in, and I'll let you know. I had thought I'd found something that said 19 were different from the 16-18 version, but it doesn't look like it from what I can tell. We'll see I guess.

 

Wow, so the 18s are bad to, that’s incredible, kinda of like the warped dashes, they still have no fix for that either. Keep us updated if the 19 works, thanks

 

19 works, just put one in my 18. Bought it off eBay for $330 w/screen (was upgrading a 4") Just dump in your old AB data and you're good to go.

Great, thanks, good info. Hopefully we can keep this thread going with part#s for nav and non nav. I saw a thread in the fusion forum were a guy did a spread sheet with all the part #s for the sync 3 modules but it seemed to die off
