Sync 3 issues
Hi everyone,
I have a 2020 F150 Lariat 5.0. Crew cab short bed. I’ve been having some issues with my sync 3 system over the last few months. I am on all current NAV and software versions.
as of the first month I was having issues with heavy lag, a blue screen when switching from the backup camera view to the regular view, sometimes I’ve had a black screen but the display ends up coming up generally 15-20 seconds later. As of recently we have had issues with audio during CarPlay beginning to cut out and the system freezing completely. I have done multiple master resets I have used the volume/power and fast forward buttons to do soft resets, I have unplugged the battery overnight. I am trying to figure out if there is way I can delete the software and OS completely and reinstall it, or if there’s anything I can do in for scan. I’m not sure if I need a whole new apim. Any and all help would be much appreciated. Thanks
