Hi All -

I have a 2018 F150 with sync 3 system. It is currently at version 2.3, and I need to upgrade to current version so that my iphone apps will ALL work. I tried using wifi to update the sync system but the progress circle spins for hours and nothing happens. I have also tried to download the update for USB update, but ford website will not let me register my truck due to a "known system error" on their end that has been going on for weeks, with no idea when it will be fixed.

Does anyone have a solution for me? Is there a way to update it without wifi or USB? Is there a way to get the wifi update to work - does it take hours?

Right now I am a bit frustrated. Solutions and advice is welcome !

 

Not sure how long you've had the truck, but is it possible Ford doesn't know you own it yet? I'm on the Account Registration page now, so it at least let me in. Is this how far you got or no? Or does the issue start when you add your personal and truck info?

That's great, but he should be able to add an account in Ford Pass. Something's wrong if he can't.

 

Its probably not registered yet. The above is just to alleviate is immediate need to get 3.0.
