I'm getting this message popup about Sync not having access to my text messages. And to check my phone and make sure I am granting access
Where in the heck do I look for this setting in my phone? I sure dont see it

I believe you need to go to Settings/Bluetooth and then select the connection for your F150 and enable notifications. Not sure if there is anything else.

 

There's only a few iPhone models that work with the text message feature and sync. What phone do you have? I just got an iPhone 7, and they aren't compatible with sync in my 2015, not sure about sync3 though. But yes, if it's compatible, you have to go into Bluetooth settings, click on sync when it's connected to the truck, then click on enable notifications.
