Default Sync 3.4 voice reply to text message help!

Hello new to the forum I recently upgraded to sync 3.4.. which is great but has anyone noticed there is no voice reply to text messages only pre recorded message stored on sync. How do I enable this feature maybe using forscan?

You don't change this with Forscan. Press the voice activation button and say "Send Message to XXXX." If you don't have an iPhone, I have no idea how it interfaces with Android.

There have never been dictated responses available, only canned. To dictate a response, you'll need to use your phone based assistant via a long press of the talk switch, or via the tile on the Phone screen.

You might need to set Siri up to do it. Might try pressing button and saying 'ok siri' send text to xyz'

On mine, I have to hold the button until I hear the 'Siri sound' and it works fine with my iPhone 12
