Sync 2 to Sync 3

I have a 2015 F150. I want to replace the Sync 2 with a Sync 3 from a 2017 F150. How do I change the VIN on the Sync 3 to be able to install it? Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There's no need to change the VIN, but you might want to use the search function. There are a lot of guides in this forum.
