Recently converted to Sync 3 from Sync 2. Used an as built from a similarly equipped 2016 variant and everything seems to be working as expected. Only issue I’ve noticed is when the camera screen is active there is a thin line at the top of the screen and appears distorted/corrupted.
Tried searching and came across an old thread that mentioned it may be from the “old” IPMB not playing nice with the new APIM but didn’t see anything definitive. Any help on how to resolve would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Mine has the same line. I also note I do not have camera settings available under the vehicle settings on the sync 3 screen and the camera turns off after shifting into reverse if I do not let the screen fully load before shifting. Does yours have these same issues? I believe there is some setting that is off, but I have been reluctant to go in and change things with forscan.

My cameras appear to operate normally minus the line above the images and I do have one setting for camera delay on/off in the vehicle settings menu within SYNC. Not sure of the exact address that enables this but posted the asbuilt I am currently using from the donor VIN I’ve found below if that helps you at all:
Regarding the issue with the line in the top of the camera screen, best I’ve found in doing some digging around is this line appears to be due to some sort of incompatibility with the 2015 IPMB firmware or the hardware itself and the Sync 3 APIM. May try to source a 2016 IPMB to see if it corrects but not sure if it’s worth it at the moment.
