Default Sync 2... skips?

Ive noticed a more frequent "skip" coming from the radio in the past month or so. This week even more frequent.

Its like when XM doesnt have signal, theres just a pause, and then it goes back to normal. Doesnt matter what audio source either. Navigation can be set, or not... makes no difference.

Was getting this skip maybe once a week, now its 3-5 times per hour, lasts maybe half a second and resumes. Weather hasnt seem to made a difference.

Bumps in the road, traffic conditions, nothing makes sense for it to be faulty electrical grounding out.

I dont get it, figured Id ask the tribe.

Anyone know what could be causing it?

My initial guess is a loose antenna cable. Is this only with XM/Sirius or does it do it on AM/FM as well?

So if it is happening with hard sources as well, sounds like a problem with the head unit or the wiring. Could still be a connection even without jarring being necessary. It isn't like our trucks don't have vibrations even at idle.
