Default Sync 1 to Sync 3 upgrade issue

I just upgraded my 2016 crew cab from the 4.2 inch sync 1 to Sync 3 8 inch screen. Hooked everything up and have a few bugs. First are codes that are showing in forscan. I am getting a FCDIM error, unable to read DTC and an APIM UO159 code. Also when I switch media sources with the physical media buttons on the dash and steering wheel, it will cycle through the different sources until it gets to FM AST and then stops. Also when I try to make a call with sync with my phone connected via Bluetooth, the audio source will change from whatever it is, like usb, to the radio and I have no audio from the person I called and they can't hear me. I've tried deleting my phone and also tried with my wife's phone and have the exact same issue. I would greatly appreciate any help. I did purchase a sync 2 to 3 upgrade kit from eBay and bought my own wiring harness for sync 1 to 3 and a backup camera adapter and my own control panel.

I have the exact same problem.

Since theres no idiot lights associated with those faults, if you dont look at it in Forscan then you dont have to think about it.

Thats been my solution for a couple months now. I hope to fix it eventually.
