Default Sun Visor Stickers

Has anyone had any luck removing the yellow stickers on the sun visors? I'd like to take them off but when I started with my fingernail on one corner it looked like it would leave a lot of residue on the fabric.

One of mine left more residue than the other. Keep in mind that once you decide to pull them off, there's no going back and you are committed to finishing the job. The lower strength Goo-Gone and lots of rubbing will eventually get it all off, but be prepared to spend 15 minutes or so on each one.

Thanks...I hear you about not turning back which is why I stopped and looked for help here!! I dont mind the time it would take, I was more worried that goo gone would (1) not work on the fabric; or (2) discolor the fabric...not so?

I used black contact paper on a vehicle last time to cover them. I didn't know you could pull them off. May have to try that.

Yep, they'll come off. Much better looking up at clean black visors as opposed to garish yellow government stickers.

I agree those stickers are horrible.
Took mine off ASAP and used Goo gone and a tooth brush and rag to clean them up.

Anyone have any pics during or post removal? I'm surprised they can be removed, but wouldn't mind doing this if the finished results look good.

Maybe hearing them up with a dryer or steamer would help get the sticker off

Yes. A hair dryer will work just fine. Use the Goo-Gone to rub off the adhesive residue after they're peeled off

Are some model of the visors all plastic? Mine are covered in cloth. I just want to make sure the goo gone will remove residue and not stain the cloth.
