Subwoofer Issue
Hello, first time poster here so go easy on me

I installed a kicker hideaway today the "old school" way. I ran power from the battery, tapped the +/- door speaker wires from the drivers door kickplate area. (+ I used the white wire with the green stripe, - was the brown wite with the yellow stripe.) I reset my ACM in forscan to factory defaults and powered up the truck. The sub has power (red light) and signal (red light turns blue). However I hear nothing from the speaker itself. Any ideas on why I'm not getting anything out of the sub? I have my toggles: DC Offset - Low - 0 deg. Bass Boost: 0, Crossover :~80deg, Gain: 0.
The rear speakers work and I hear bass out of them.
For anyone wondering why I didnt use the WPT 1212 connector, I tried that and it gave power but no sound. When I was screwing with it I took the voltage between the + and - like a rookie and shorted the connector. I tried to exchange the unit after this and went through 3 different ones before I blew the connector. I still have sub #3.
Thanks in advance

I also ended up using the front speaker signal and a Dayton DSP
but to your original problem you need to first see if the wires are sending audio signals .. troubleshoot that first.. then start troubleshooting the amp
If you are interested in me building you a harness for this send me an email hushcaraudio@gmail.com.
