Subwoofer help
2020 ford f150 XLT
hey I’m wanting to do a good underseat 4 8in subs setup roughly around 2000-3500 watts rms to run, preferably would like to be able to run a setup without having to replace the battery or the alternator unless it’s better recommended to go that route with the wattage I’m wanting.
Overall I feel lost with picking things out, as I am not very well educated on this audio topic, any and all help and guidance would be very helpful thank you.

Assume you mean 2000 - 3500 watts...
Not too many subs will handle that kind of power, and frankly I have never seen a '4X8' size sub. Just to start fresh here, as you noted you're not really up on this topic yet...you need AMPLIFIERS to power your subwoofers. You'll need a way to get the audio signal to the amps. If you are seriously going with big power, you will need to run dedicated 4 gauge or larger cable from the battery, and consider replacing the alternator with a higher output one. If you haven't yet, play around on CRUTCHFIELD, look at their system suggestions; you'll find those guys have already done much of the legwork.
Good luck!
