Default Stupid Auto Unlock won’t work

Hey, I have an issue with my 2015 f150 lariat. Even with Auto Unlock checked in the advanced settings the doors DO NOT unlock in park like they should. So every time I get out and then go to get my kids out of the back I pull the handle only to realize it’s still locked, and then I have thoughts of burning the truck to the ground for the next few seconds after. If anyone knows anything about this issue please lmk! I’m pretty mechanically inclined. I’ve researched and watched videos on how to enter programming mode, that doesn’t seem to work either.

Are you turning off the ignition before you get out.

From the 2015 Owner Manual:

Autolock and Autounlock (If Equipped)

The autolock feature locks all the doors when your doors are closed, the ignition is on, and your vehicle reaches a speed greater than 12 mph (20 km/h).

When your doors autolock while driving, stopping the vehicle then switching the ignition off or to accessory and opening the driver door unlocks all your doors. This autounlock feature remains active for 10 minutes after stopping.

Note: The doors do not autounlock if you have electronically locked them before opening the driver door.

If any rear seat passenger tries to unlock the door while you are shutting of the ignition and before opening the driver door, that door will not auto-unlock.

I'm having the same issue on my 2019 Lariat (recently purchased). I did a software update on the SYNC, and I think this started after that.

I guess I’ve been opening my door before turning off the ignition because it works now. Turn off the ignition., Open driver door. Voila all doors unlocked.

Did you figure this out? I have the same issue and it's been working just fine for many years. I feel like this may be related to a sync update.
