Default Strange engine question

My truck is susposed to be a 5.0, but why is the engine coolant reservoir in the front of the engine? In my manual (second printing) shows the reservoir on the side behind the air filter?

That is for sure a 5.0 Count the intake runners. There are 8 of them.

I know the '11-'14 5.0 trucks had the coolant reservoir mounted on the side behind the air filter. Maybe they changed the reservoir location for 2015 but failed to update the manual?

It's. 5.0l for sure. A lot of times pictures or diagrams printed in an owners manual, (especially a new model) aren't that accurate.

Yes, the coolant reservoir on my 2015 5.0L is in the same place as yours.
