Default Strange AC Issue

Hey all - just started having an issue with my 2018 Screw 2.7 (19K miles). Happened once and I thought it was random, but now it's happening every day. My air works perfectly fine upon initial startup for the day, or once it's sat for an extended period of time. If I take a short trip where I shut off the truck, no air will blow at all. All the lights are on like it should be, but nothing blows. This morning I started it up and the AC blew fine. I shut if off after a minute or two, started it back up, and nothing. I was able to "fool it" once or twice by turning the key on but not the truck, letting the fan kick on, then starting. That worked twice but then it stopped. Blend door moves fine, blower is capable of working - but I just don't know where to go from here. Any ideas?

Model of truck?
Are you still on original battery? silly question, but if you have a higher trim level, and battery is original, I totally could see glitchy electronic issues like this.

It's an XLT and yes, I'm on the original battery. It's an 18, but bought in Jan of 19. I was wondering about voltage issue...

What are your driving patterns. Little trips often, or weekly interstate rides? If it were me, I'd have the battery tested, seems if it is right on a threshold of good / bad, it still will start truck but sometimes not play nice with electronics. For grins, I would connect to my trickle charger overnight as well, and see if that changed anything the next day. Good luck, I'm sure others smarter than I will come along soon.

When you say no air will blow, I assume you also mean the blower fan is not heard also?

Quick trips these days. Majority less than 5 miles. I put the meter on it a little bit ago. Engine off it was sitting at 12.4. Engine on it was at 14.2.

Correct. Once i restart the truck after a short trip, the blower motor is not running. After it sits for awhile, the blower motor runs fine. Full force. Just tried this again after sitting for 2 hours and same result.

Have it tested, IMO, A battery that was just charging with a running truck, and has not rested long should be above 12.4. 12.4 is usually considered rock bottom. Do you have a charger?

That is the easiest to test if he has a charger.
But would that effect the blower motor from running?

Earlier, I commented about wonky electrical things happening with poor batteries. I'm not super electrically smart, but I'm on this site daily learning, and I have seen and read some very odd behaviors that eventually lead back to a bad battery. Something to do with the computer modules being underpowered and not playing nicely.

Sitting here thinking.
You know what ?
It may also be the motor itself is getting ready to take a dump.
Or something that regulates it.

Or some sensor to it going bad, if there is a sensor to it. How many sensors on yours, 300 400?
I say sensors are the #1 problem for problems. I hate most sensors.
Loose wiring? I dont think so, but something else to check.
