Steering wheel lock?
2017 KR. I've noticed lately that the steering wheel doesn't lock when the truck is in park and shut off, like every other vehicle I've had in the last 25 years does. Is this because the electric power steering negates the need of locking the steering wheel? Or is there something wrong with my truck? Not that I care about it at all, but I'm just curious and thought that was odd.
I am pretty sire my 15 doesn't lock either. I know I've turned it way farther than any other vehicle when it is off.
Could have something to do with the push button start versus a key which is usually part of the steering lock mechanism.

My 2017 with regular key has a lock.. As per the owners manual, turn steering wheel 180 degrees to the left or right before turning vehicle off. Only then will it lock.
I assume push button start has some sort of electronic gizmo as there is a fuse labeled "steering column lock" which has no fuse installed in my case.
