Default Steering Issue

Today, we got some new snow on my way home and figured now was a good time to see how the 4 wheel drive works on my 15' XLT. I clicked it in to 4high and went to turn at the stop sign and almost felt like my tires were rubbing? I have the stock 275/65/18 tires and I have a 2.5 inch level so I'm thinking theres no way they are rubbing and so I jumped out to check and couldn't notice anything? Drove it around the block doing more turns and same thing, feels like when I have the wheel turned they are catching on something. Anyone else have these issues?
