Default Steering column noise

2015 F150 , there's a creaking (rattle) noise in the column or the wheel itself when turning , it gets louder on colder days. Any ideas what it may be before I take it to the dealer for the second time? Possibly the clock spring between the wheel and the column?

I also have an intermittent rattle as well. However, mine occurs going straight down the road and over minor bumps. Drives me crazy. I plan to have it and the noisy sunroof looked at during my next oil change.

It doesn't happen all the time...but I have taken notice that my key in the ignition rattles while driving. When I grab it, it stops.

I have the same issue. If I pop the hood and shake the steering shaft it is a little loose and seems to make the noise that I'm hearing in the cab. I think there is blue plastic that is at mid shaft that must be too small and causing the looseness. I think that section is so the steering shaft can move up and down I don't know if it's part of the whole collapsible thing

My 03 chevy did the same thing but the offered a grease kit which would only last 3000 miles. Eventually they replaced the shaft and the problem never came back

I had a rattle under the steering wheel that drove me nuts. After several trips to the dealer with no success I took it upon myself o find it.
