Anybody know how easy it would be to switch out the start button for a lighted one? More trouble than what it’s worth? Not possible? Any input is appreciated.

The switch in my 2018 is not just a simple switch. It has two sets of normally open contacts, two inputs for power and ground, one input from the BCM to one side of the bi-color LED, and finally an input from the Panel illumination to the other side of the bi-color LED.

I take it you want a switch that is back lit, or the whole button lights up not just an LED? A quick search did not locate anything like that aftermarket...

 

Something like this, but I am assuming it's more trouble than what it's worth.

i know the one in my 2019 ranger is backlit. who knows if that one will plug right in or not
