Default Squeaky Steering Wheel

There seems to be a gap or some play between the plastic piece on the left side of my steering wheel and the steering wheel. And it squeaks if I push on it. I know, I know "Just don't push it!", but it happens and it's annoying.

Does anyone else have this problem? Do you think this is dealership warranty worthy?

I wouldn't make a trip for it but I would have them look at it during an oil change or service.
