Default Speedometer Calibration

Good morning, I recently installed 34" tires along with a 2" level kit. I love the new look so much that I am holding off getting a new f-150. My problem is that my speedo is off. Is there anyone in the Philadelphia area that you recommend or is willing to calibrate my speedo for me. I can buy the tool an doi it myself but then will have a tool that will not be used again. Any help is greatly appreciated. Fyi- I have a 2019 F-150 with 3.5 ecoboost.

Have you checked out the FORSCAN thread at the top of this sub forum?

That's not what the thread is for. FORSCan is a software tool, that with an adapter you buy, allows you to do programming on your vehicle.

If you want someone else to do that for you, you'd want to post in the Regional forum (https://www.f150forum.com/f39/) where you live, and ask. Keep in mind though that if someone is reprogramming your truck for you, that's something you need to think about carefully.

Thanks, I will take look there. I definitely do not want someone to use FORSCAN on my truck. I am looking for someone that may have purchased the Hypertech or Rough Country speedo calibrator and would like to offset some of the expense and use it on my truck. Thanks, Dave

Dave,
It's really easy to do yourself. I have two sets of tires, one for winter and a set for summer and I have to change the speedometer every time.
1. Purchase a ODB2 adapter. (Amazon.com)
2. Create an account and download the software. (Forscan)
3. Download an speed app for your phone.
4. Calculate the difference, change the line in your BCM Directions can be found here (Tire Calculation)
