Speedo Issue

At least your truck's speedo is correct, so don't see what the problem is. My truck is pretty much dead on as well. Checked against a police radar, and my digital speedo showing 45, radar was flashing 45 and 46. Most cars are about 1 to 2 miles optimistic, to avoid lawsuits, I guess. Most of my motorcycles were a lot worse than that (about 5), but haven't checked lately.

This is a known issue with The SYNC system. It's a scaling issue as the gps on your phone will show the correct speed until you plug it into the SYNC system. The only thing that is going to fix this is a SYNC update from Ford.

On the Waze forums there is a good thread about this particular issue.

So we are stuck in a waiting period. Mine shows 10-11% higher mph when using any speed sensing app and plugged into the SYNC 3 system in my 2018 F-150
