The only other things I will have to work around (should have my truck in a few weeks), is the adaptive cruise stuff behind the mirror and the sliding rear window... with crew cab.
My pleasure! I couldn't find much info with wiring dash cams in these newer F150's, so I thought the little knowledge that I have from my research and install would help others.

Regarding the adaptive cruise behind the mirror (I don't have it), you can mount the camera lower or off-center if you'd like. You could also adjust your mirror to be a little lower and still cover the dash cam if you'd like. With the new design for the sliding glass rear windows, you should be able to mount the rear camera above the opening. I don't have it to confirm, but there should be room. I know that I saw some people, with the old design, mount their cameras on the sliding window, to keep it center, and just have enough slack where the window could still open with the camera on it.

With the crew cab, you'd only have the middle pillar to add another step to the process I detailed above. But since it'll be similar to the other interior pillar covers, I don't see that being an issue.

Amazon or ebaY search F600. Dual cam, all one unit, small and fairly inexpensive ($55).
Main issue, is that you need to have it centered to properly level the cam.

Alright-a-roonie, here's some more pics for you, jtech1.

I ran the cables along where the red arrows are pointing. I went down that gasket for the camera's power cable, and up the gasket to run the rear camera's cable. The teal arrows are pointing to the caps that cover the bolts to take off the A-pillar cover. Once you take this off, you'll see how much room is in there to stuff the slack from the rear camera.

The passenger door sill is attached with clips (like just about everything else in these trucks). You can pull this up, but you'll need to use a little bit of force. Don't worry, it won't break. This is so you can run the power cable to the fuse box.

Once that sill cover is lifted up (you might be able to take it all the way off with your Super Crew), you can run the cable. The red arrows show where the cable is tucked, and the teal show how the cable is placed below the door sill. Make sure that you don't put the cable where the holes are for the clips.

The slack is stored behind the kick panel, and you can see that it's connected to the 12v cigarette plug in the bottom-right. You can see where the wires are going for the fuses, and I have the PiMP tucked away up in the top-left.

Just like the A-pillar, I tucked the rear camera's cable into the door gasket, the pillar cover, and then along the rear window and headliner.

Wow! Thank you very much! This will be a big help to me and I am sure many others.

If I understand you correctly, the only pieces you had to actually remove were the front pillar cover, front door threshold and passenger kick plate... all else tucked in without removing anything... correct?

You're welcome! I didn't have to remove the passenger kick panel, only the cover to the fuse box. I simply tucked the cable along the bottom of the kick panel. That fuse box cover can be opened by pulling the front-most part of it. It'll unclip, then you can just pull it out.

Eptesicus, great job in putting this together on the BlackVue installation for jtech1 and other members.

Jtech1, you can check out this video series we did on the BlackVue installation as well. I know it is in a different vehicle, but the installation setup is all the same for almost all vehicles. Detailed setup of the Power Magic Pro, running the wiring, etc. I'm available if you have any further questions that you might want to answer over the phone 888-855-5470 x704 or you can message me.

How did you mount the dashcam to the rearview mirror? Seems that'd be a lot easier than running it to the fuses. Is it a 5V supply on 2014 F150?

Tyler, the Ford has plenty of gap to make running the cable to the fuse box a breeze. The installation of the kit we offer should only take you 10-15 min total to install. http://thedashcamstore.com/installation-kits/

I have my dash cam temporarily installed on the windshield of my 2015 F150. It's plugged into my lower 12v outlet, and the power wire currently runs down the front of the dash board. I notice there is only about 2 inches of space between the bottom of the dash cam and the top of the dash tray, so I'm wondering if there is a way to thread the power cable down the inside of the dash by removing the tray and drilling a hole in the tray for the plug. I could then still use the 12v outlet for power and I could remove the camera easily (or replace it) at any time. I would have barely 2 inches of wire visible above the dash, which would not bother me. And I would have a 1/4 inch hole in the tray which would be invisible.

Has anyone had the tray out of the 2015 XLT dash board? Is there room behind the factory components to fish a wire through from top to bottom?

Hi Nathan, Congrats on the 2015 F150! Have you given any thought to just mounting the camera at the top of the windshield and connecting an installation kit (http://thedashcamstore.com/installation-kits/) from the fuse box to the camera. You can hide all the wiring as Eptesicus has shown above or as you can see in this installation gallery http://thedashcamstore.com/blackvue-...013-ford-f150/ I haven't been in the 2015 F150 much (trying to stay away ) but I would imagine you could just simply mount it the same way as I did in the truck. I only have a few inches of wiring that runs up by the mirror to the headliner and then nothing else is seen.
