Default Spacer question

I have a 2018 XLT 3.5 L EcoBoost with a 2 1/2 inch front leveling kit running BFG KO2s (33s) tires. I am about to order spacers. My son is recommending 1.5 inch spacers and says if I order 2 inch spacers, I'll have rubbing issues.

TRUE OR FALSE???

Thanks all!!

Chris

You assume we know the following:

Spacers - wheel spacers ??
Wheels - stock or aftermarket (diameter and offset) ??
Tires - exact size (width and diameter) ??

It entirely depends on the tires and wheels your are running.

I have same question, I’m thinking about the 1/2 inch coyote wheel spacers available on American trucks website or custom offset has some options as well.... I run a plus 18mm offset, on KMC XD snares 20inch, run bfg ko2 305/55R20, I have a two inch leveling kit on front, 2016 F150 lariat, 4x4 5.0 liter.... my tires sit almost flush, but looking for just a little more tire sticking out, just not to aggressive. I only plan to tow 5K to 6k with my truck. I wish my XDs would of had a little more offset.

Wasn't assuming....I was just under the impression that by listing the size (33s) which is a derived calculation using the wheel size and tire size, that that would be enough to answer the question......and yes, I am talking about WHEEL spacers (not sure what else I would be referring to, but ok...)

So, the tires are BFG KO2s 285/60/20. Stock OEM Ford wheels. (not sure about the offset.....I think OEMs are a bit + but I don't know for sure)

Thanks,

CN
