Default Is something missing behind tire jack

I have a new to me 2015 Super Crew F150. While putting the jack back in place I noticed a empty space in the felt liner behind the tire jack. Is this normal or is something missing (drivers side of jack)? Is something missing behind tire jack-photo471.jpg
Thanks,

Steve

Default Jack Storage

That looks to be the same setup as my ‘17.
The storage bag drapes over the jack and Velcro’s on.
Then the foam block (I’ve removed it for the second pic) which you may be missing, goes over the jack and locks into that indent you noticed.

Thanks for the responses. I have the foam block, I thought it went against the passenger wall not on top of the jack. The jack was removed and not replaced correctly and I could not figure out the correct way to place back from the owners manual. I am thinking someone must have cut into the fabric liner behind the drivers side jack to gain access to something. I will just Velcro in a patch of fabric to close it off. Thanks for the pictures they are helpful.

Same thing here... new to me 2015. I don't have the foam block though, and took me a bit to figure out how to put the jack back in.

I think I figured out that the jack has to be partially up to fit into that space.
Also, it seems like a 4-way lug wrench will fit right behind there.
