SnapRest - better comfort for 2015+ F-150!

I actually own one of these for the 2015+ trucks, I bought it last year for my 2016 XL with the crappy hard plastic arm rests. I bought the original friction fit version which goes in the grab handle on the door, and I love it. It makes driving the truck like rolling around in a recliner, and keeps my left arm in line with the rest of my body, and is super relaxing. For road trips its amazing, as it places your left arm and hand right on the wheel and you can just cruise....its probably too relaxing lol, and of course one should always have a proper grip on the wheel
SnapRest reached out to me many months after I bought the original version, and sent me a prototype of the "permanent" version pictured in this thread. They actually just sent the base, as the pads can be unscrewed and changed from base to base. The newer version leaves the door grab handle free, and doesn't need to be removed every time you open the door. This version also puts the arm rest farther back, and gives those with larger forearms a greater purchase on the actual rest. Both are equally comfortable however and both were amazing. However when I was at a car wash, one of the attendants grabbed the SnapRest and tried to use it as a handle to shut the door. He ripped it off the door (causing no damage), and since then I've gone back to the friction fit version as I just like it better and it eliminates the risk of someone pulling it off the door. I'd be worried about using too much double sided sticky tape, and what that might do to the door should someone do what the car wash guy did.
I bought the cheaper molded vinyl version and the quality is pretty good. I can't comment on the leather versions, though judging by the pictures they look even better then the vinyl version.
FYI, I was not contacted in reference to this thread as my reviews of the product were submitted by email months ago. It is nice to see them on the forum however, as I feel its a great product and really resolved a shortcoming with my XL interior.

I wouldn't mind testing one, if you need someone a standard deviation or two above the norm in height (6'3"). 2018 loaded 502A Lariat Special Editon (black/red interior) here.

I'd be happy to evaluate one if you need a 6'4" reviewer. Tall people need to rest their arms too, ya know...
