Default Smoother Shifting?

Seems like when I put the truck in 4A the shifting is smoother. Less jolts, rattles and jerks. Anyone concur or want to go out and try it?

I haven't really paid attention... I wonder if the shift schedule is altered slightly to prevent shock to the transfer case?

Was in 4A most of last week and this weekend due to extreme cold and snow and ice. Still had the rough shifting, etc. It is subtle but there.

Try driving in any mode other than "normal"...
At least in my case, "normal" is the "least normal" of any other option.

I barely feel mine shift unless I get on it. Then it'll slam you in the seat when it downshifts.
