This may seem rather basic to some, but I searched and didn't see any info on this so thought that I'd share my experience.

Lately I've been getting pretty frustrated at the slow and lagging Navi system. I was messing around and found a setting that I changed and I really like the system better now. I am going by memory, but I think it was found under the Navigation System Settings - "Interaction mode - standard/advanced". I changed it to advanced and then tried using the system. The ladies voice is now gone and you just tell the system what you want to do and it does it much better and faster than before. If you are somewhat comfortable with your Navi system and the voice commands, I really recommend that you try this one setting change.
