Default Slow shifting?

Does anyone else experience slow shifting from the transmission when selecting D, R, N P?

I never thought much of it when I bought the truck but it seems unusual now. I recall reading in a previous thread of how a transmission computer update solved this issue, but the update did not work for me.

Going from D to R, then back to D is a long process...

Going from D to R is fairly quick for mine... at least it doesn't seem slow and takes about a second. But going from R to D is unusually slow and takes about 3 seconds. I've never had a vehicle take that long.

R to D is a bit sluggish on mine, can be frustrating at times if backing up/turning around in traffic ect. I miss the days when shift levers were mechanical...

This is what bugs me the most, good to know other trucks are the same at least. I wonder if there is anything that could be done to fix this
