hey there... would you happen to know the million dollar answer to a fifty cent question? or steer me in the right direction.. just looking for some direction on how to reinstate the Sirius xm radio button on my unit using forscan? the radio is capable, for that it the ser# for it. and i activated it to the trk before knowing the button doesn't show up as an option in source`s menu. anyway any ideas would be helpful. thx

 

Curious, what searching have you done on this to try and get it yourself? I ask because it’s the first line on the APIM tab of the Forscan spreadsheet stickied in this sub forum. If you searched that tab for “Sirius”, it would have hit on the first line.

At any rate, here’s the process to remove it. Reverse this procedure to add it back:

7D0-01-01 *xxx xxxx xxxx Removes Sirius from audio sources. Decrement your value at the asterisk by two; if you have an A make it 8, if you have 2 make it 0

I’m kind of also curious to the situation you have going on. Did you remove Sirius from the sources menu on purpose, or did you buy the truck used and the previous owner put a Sirius unit in it? Ford generally does not put a Sirius equipped ACM in a truck and just leave the source option disabled in the APIM.

 

 

Bought it used. and found it was once there? it a ser# for Sirius in it... I did look around before askin.. guess not there thx.
