Default Side Window Deflectors

Has anyone installed the WeatherTech side window deflectors?
I was wondering if the 'in-channel' design causes a problem with the windows bounce back feature.

I'd like to know this as well, including if it could mess up tint.

They aren't available for the 15's yet from WeatherTech, but the bounce back on the windows has been around since 2011.
I was hoping someone with an earlier model might be able to help out.

Ordering a KR on Tuesday and I thought I might start on gift ideas for my birthday in March. Deflectors and floor mats are tops on the list already!!

Also planning on the Husky floor mats instead of OEM thanks to the advice on this forum.

I'd imagine they're not available yet, but I'd steer clear of the in-channel visors. I just put AVS seamless on my truck, they attach to the rubber around the window frame and not to the paint. Look clean, and actually give the appearance of an in-channel visor without the interference of the auto-up windows.

Congrats on you upcoming order. I too have a birthday in March (8th) and placed my King Ranch order on 15 Dec. It's going to be close but hoping it shows up in time.

I gave up on my Weather tech's on my 13 model, just got tired of that bounce back happening so much.

I changed my forum search to 'In-Channel Visors' based on your suggestion and came up with tons of additional advice.

I like the look of the AVS low profile model.

Thanks, Rich

Here's a link to AVS website for the low profile visors. They have several other styles there also.

I had WeatherTech visors and one window had the bounce back. The solution was to file the leading edge of the visor, the first part of the visor to have contact with the window, before installing, worked great and the visors don't protrude from the vehicle as much as stick on's.
