Default Shuffle on Sync 3 audio

On my 2014 F150 with Sync with my iPod plugged in to USB if I turned Shuffle on it would stay on until I turned it off in settings. On my 2016 with Sync 3 I have to turn shuffle on whenever I start the truck. Is there a setting somewhere that I missed that will let me have shuffle stay on instead of having to turn it on evrytime I start the truck?

i notice the same thing on my Ipod Touch 32 gb. My 32gb usb thumb drive, stays on Shuffle. But, the Ipod has to be set to Shuffle every time the trucks started.

I noticed the same thing on my iPod - I have a really long playlist (400+ songs) and I like it on shuffle. It reverts to shuffle turned off and the whole list starts again every time I kill the truck. On the USB jump drive it stays on shuffle and remembers where it was at. Probably a flaw with the iPod...

By the way, I could never get the jump drive play lists to work correctly (it could find some songs on the list, others were just not there - no rhyme or reason) so I gave up. I had plenty of drive space so I just copied into a folder all the actual song files I wanted on the playlist. I renamed the album name associated with those files to the name of the playlist I had been trying to create (using iTunes). Now I just play that "album" - works like a charm.

Thanks. I was thinking of replacing my iPod with a jump drive before I asked the question, now I will be using a jump drive for sure.
